Hyperloop was first introduced in 2014 and rebranded in 2017 to Virgin Hyperloop. Elon Musk's Hyperloop will revolutionize the way we transport in the USA. High-speed bullet trains are used in Europe and Asia, transporting passengers from Tokyo to Kyoto / Paris to London (about 200+ miles) in about 2.5 hrs. Elon Musk introduced the Hyperloop to improve transportation in California aiming to bring passengers from Los Angeles to San Francisco in 45 mins. This will help reduce traffic on the road and reduce emissions. The Hyperloop concept is based on a levitating pod that travels through tunnels and tubes connecting cities in minutes at speeds of up to 760mph.
