Meet Lisa, she has recovered from the devastating disease of alcohol use disorder. Alcoholism has plagued her family for generations, but the shame stops here. After 8 years of alcohol and drug use she came to the realization that if she wanted a better life it was going to have to be substance free. She sought out mental health support, community support and family support.

Now, over 30 years sober she has forged a career of helping others recover, dedicating her life to helping suffering people and their families. The shame of alcoholism runs very deep, especially for women. She shares her trials and heart aches with you in the hopes that it shines the light on the shame in your life and encourages you to reach out, take that first step to expose the pain you feel and begin to heal.
