ScaleTrains HYPOTYPICAL Tier 4 GEVO in N Scale

Earlier this year, ScaleTrains announced their first runs of hypothetical paint schemes on their General Electric Tier 4 GEVO models in both HO and N scale.

In this video we take a look a brief look at one of these models. The model in this video is the CSX YN2 variety. Living up to the high standards of the Rivet Counter line, this run is similar to previous runs of the GE Tier 4 GEVO locomotive in N scale. These new models however are equipped with ESU LokSound 5, offering sharper sounds, and more variety of sound functions to experience from than early runs.

The Hypotypical line of products, announced in 2024, opens the doors of creativity and nostalgia for modelers, by offering accurately detailed locomotives and rolling stock in road names and paint schemes that could have happened if history shook out a little different.
