I’ll also be putting #CyberGhost through three different tests on both a Mac and a Windows computer, making sure that it’s up to Security Baron’s high standards in terms of speed, performance, and security. One of the most important things to look out for in a VPN is whether or not it will log your data. Ideally, companies only keep the information that’s necessary to uphold your subscription, like the email address you registered with along with your payment information. Unfortunately, CyberGhost keeps more information than necessary, like your IP address, what country you used the VPN in, and when you used the VPN. If you’re looking for privacy, CyberGhost may not be the best choice in the world, although they claim that this information is anonymized.
