~ ~ Here's a demo of one of the games I've been working on! It all started this last friday May 29th on a Game Jam at my school and we made it in a span of 48 hours.

The theme of the Game Jam was "Minigames" and we came up with the idea of making a two players game about cats and kittens. Because everyone loves cats.

It is a fun minigame where your main objective is to collect food that will be spawning on the floor and feed your three little kittens three times each. You can also grab your opponent's kittens and drop it any place you want, just to make it harder for your opponent to feed his kittens.
The first player to completely feed its kittens wins!

I wanted to make a sort of double tempo Jazz/Blues soundtrack for this game, even though it was challenging for me since it is totally out of my comfort zone. Cats are jazz for me. So I had to make this happen.

As for the SFX, most of the sounds were recorded with my pair of MXL mics (990,991)

I also used an analog synth (Arturia Microbrute) for the menu and success sound.
