G20 Summit LIVE: India's PM Modi, Australian PM Anthony Albanese Deliver Joint Statements

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese delivered joint statements following the culmination of India-Australia Annual Summit on the sidelines of the G20 2024. PM Modi shared measure taken to strengthen the bilateral economic ties between the two countries. He further mentioned that the two nations will hold a summit next year to further discuss issues of bilateral interests. The two countries, along with the United States and Japan, are members of the Quad, which has sought to balance China's rising military and economic clout in the Indo Pacific region. Australia was the largest producer per capita of rooftop solar in the world, and projects with India will include training a rooftop solar workforce as India seeks to boost household use of renewables, Albanese said.
