An alligator seemed to be taking a nap right in the middle of a Florida street. Body camera video from the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Department shows a deputy cautiously approaching the gator. This happened early in the morning, before daylight, so thankfully the alligator nap wasn’t interrupting rush hour traffic. Officers from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission arrived on the scene as backup. Officials say the alligator was relocated to a safer spot to take his naps.
