The ULTIMATE valvetrain for my Turbo Junkyard Big Block

Описание к видео The ULTIMATE valvetrain for my Turbo Junkyard Big Block

One of the biggest issues with my Turbo 8.1 was it floated the valves around 5,500 RPM and 20 lbs of boost. We want to spin the engine faster and make more power in the upper RPM range, so we swapped in a larger duration cam, but also needed better valve springs to support more boost and RPM. Valvetrain upgrades might not be the sexiest part of building engines, but its definitely one of the more important parts to making an engine do what you ask of it. Today, we go over the valvetrain and top end assembly of our Junkyard refreshed turbo big block.
