Sony used to make some crazy expensive and underpowered laptops called the Vaio. There were different models of this brand, and this might be the most impressive model they ever made (if you ignore the MSRP). Launched in 2008, this VGN-Z series laptop is an ultraportable beast with a Nvidia GPU, a socketed Intel Core 2 Duo, optional high resolution LED display, optional Blu-Ray Drive, and a ton of ports. And though it was built using questionable design decisions that make it an absolute pain in the butt to repair and upgrade, the key thing is it was still possible, and IT STILL WORKS. I don't have faith in any modern laptop to last 16 years like this one has. From the quality of the plastic to the modularity of nearly every component, this laptop was a perfect example of what happens when there's competition and risk taking in the tech industry.

This came in my shop with...
Intel Core 2 Duo P9500
3GB RAM
320GB HDD
Windows 10 32bit
Boot-up time of 19 seconds
Average Temperature of 420c
