How to Clean and Re-Oil Your K&N Air Filter: Step-by-Step Guide

STEP 1 - REMOVE FILTER: Carefully remove your K&N air filter from its housing, tapping off loose dirt and debris.

STEP 2 - APPLY K&N POWER KLEEN: Spray K&N Power Kleen cleaner on both sides of the filter. Let it sit for 10 minutes but don't let it dry.

STEP 3 - RINSE FILTER WITH LOW-PRESSURE WATER: Rinse with cool, low-pressure water from the clean side out to flush dirt.

STEP 4 - AIR DRY FILTER: Shake off excess water and let the filter dry naturally—no oiling until completely dry.

STEP 5 - APPLY K&N FILTER OIL: Use K&N filter oil to coat each pleat evenly. Let the oil absorb for 20 minutes, then touch up any areas until the filter is uniformly red.
