BJP Leader BS Yediyurappa Gives Up His Shikaripura Assembly Constituency For Son | Breaking News

Senior BJP leader and former chief minister of Karnataka BS Yediyurappa announced that he is giving up his Assembly constituency to his son Vijayendra. Yediyurappa said his son will now contest the election from Shikaripura Assembly constituency located in the state’s Shivamogga district.
The BJP veteran called on the people of the state to support his son Vijayendra in the next election. Yeddyurappa's announcement came a day after he denied claims that he had been sidelined in the party, which is in power in the southern state. Yediyurappa further asserted Thursday that he will not allow the Congress to come to power in Karnataka.
