Описание к видео Changing the culture of conversations for emerging AHP Leaders: Part Two

This second podcast is a series of three of 'Changing the Culture of Conversations' this one aimed at emerging AHP leaders and managers. We ask you to listen and learn and look at your own understanding of your privilege and your culture so you can understand those that are different.

Massive respect to the phenomenal leaders and role models who joined me today:

Rafiah Badat is an NIHR Clinical Doctoral Research Fellow, City, University of London and a Speech & Language Therapist, St George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
@RafiahB @INCLUDEtherapy

Adine Adonis is a Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist at St Marys Hospital, Imperial College NHS Trust and a Neurology Research Fellow, Imperial Health Charity. She is also Chair of the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Neurology.
@abbap

Ganesh Baliah is Regional Head of Allied Health Professions (AHPs) Health Education England (Midlands and East of England) and a Podiatrist by professional background
@GBaliah

Sharon Adjei-Nicol is a clinical and academic Speech and Language Therapist currently just finished her PhD and is starting a lecturing role.
@AcquireSLT

Jemima Kola-Abodunde is a First Contact Practitioner Physiotherapist in a General Practice and has a Masters degree in Public Health. She is also a Global Health Fellow.
@JemimaKA

Musharrat J Ahmed-Landeryou is a Senior Lecturer at London South Bank University, Division of Occupational Therapy Dept Allied Health Sciences Faculty of Health & Social Care. She joined the conversation because she felt strongly that AHP is bigger in numbers than her or the professional body as a collective & in the past it has always been a MDT that supported in her career & helped make dents regarding the real problem of inequity albeit not lasting. @LecturerMish

Jou Yin (JY) Teoh is a Occupational Therapy Lecturer and Racial and Cultural Equity Lead at Brunel University, London. She joined the podcast conversation as BAME AHP Students in the United Kingdom deserve better. @teohjouyin

David Williams is a rotational Physiotherapist at University Hospitals of Derby & Burton. He joined the podcast as he wanted to listen and learn and be in a safe space of like minded people to make a difference in such an important topic. Systematic and structural change is needed and this a start of moving forward together @beardedPT

Steve Tolan is a Physiotherapist by background and Allied Health Professional Lead for NHSE and NHSI London Region. Steve was inspired to join this conversation by the previous round of podcasts and seen this as a valuable opportunity to discuss change, the role of allies and hear tangible examples of the negative experiences of Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic AHP colleagues. @tolanAHP
