Jesse Cornett brings to life this tale by author Jeremiah Huffman - the 3rd place winner in our August 2014 Short Writing Contest - about a disturbed individual named Gormley, who derives pleasure from something very strange: the sending of letters to the parents of abducted children, wherein he take credit for crimes he did not commit, describing in sickening detail the horrible things he never actually did. But it is Gormley, who suffered at the hands of an abusive and negligent father as a child himself, who holds the greatest fear, and who is forced to reckon with them before all is said and done.
