DIY lamp with driftwood and cement.
You don't know what to do with driftwood? Why don't you make a lamp with a perfect mood light for a bedroom.
This video is an easy tutorial that shows how to use a piece of driftwood to make a woodend lamp. The piece of wood is hollowed out and drilled to house the bulb and the electric wire. Here the piece of wood has a nice appearance at its base. So I didn't want to cut it. I used cement to create a stable plinth that showcases the worn driftwood base. I had thought of playing with contrasts with a modern lampshade but finally I chose sobriety with a lamp with a simple and very natural design. Wood remains the main element of the project. The bulb is a decorative bulb with yellow light reminiscent of the light of fire. It creates a warm atmosphere and its position in the hollow of the trunk further dims the light. This tutorial is easy to do, especially if you find soft wood that won't be too difficult to dig.
