Wouldn't it just be easier for your Smart Home if you could control your gas fireplace with your voice? I say YES. I found this little low voltage relay switch on eBay for merely $20. If you pair it with a $10 Wifi outlet you get one smart gas fireplace. Couple that with a super easy install and I think everyone with a smart home and a gas fireplace should have this.
