Obverse Vs. Reverse - Which Side is Which?

Описание к видео Obverse Vs. Reverse - Which Side is Which?

In this video I talk about the difference between a coins obverse and its reverse. These terms and typically synonymous with Heads and Tails. The "Heads" side of a coin is its obverse. The "Tails" side of a coin is its reverse. Coins do not have a front and a back but rather an obverse and a reverse. If you are really into coin collecting or numismatics then you should know these terms.

In the video I show a bunch of different coins and tell you which side is their obverse and which side is their reverse. I also explain how to tell the difference in a coins obverse and its reverse. If a coin has a large head on it then that side it typically its obverse. If a coin has a side that changes every year then that side id typically its reverse. Some coins are very hard to tell the difference and I go over how to tell the difference in those coins obverse and revers at the end of the video. I hope I was able to help you learn the difference between a coins obverse and its reverse in this video!
