First of all, I will explain you the meaning of CSS position and the I will explain you about 5 types of position. They are absolute, relative, sticky, fixed and static. There all different kinds of positions are very useful for us to design a beautiful website. Among all of them, Position Absolute and relative are very important for us.

What is position Absolute?
An element with position: absolute; is positioned relative to the father (ancestor) instead of positioned relative to the viewport, like fixed. The space occupied by absolute positioned element can be occupied by the other element.

What is position Relative ?
An element with position relative is placed according to the its normal position and it moves with respect to its normal position. Unlike Absolute position, the space occupied by relative positioned element cannot be occupied by the other element unless we do so.
