To increase film and fiber recovery a NRT SpydIR® optical sorter is paired with Nihot Film Eject Aspirators (FEA), creating the FiberPure™ film recovery system. The FiberPure™ will detect and eject film, pneumatically conveying it away from the remaining clean fiber stream.

The removed film is aspirated by controlled air through a material duct into a Rotary Air Separator (RAS). The RAS separates the light materials from the conveying airflow by passing it over a perforated screen by which the light materials drop down into a rotary valve. The rotary valve seals of the RAS and discharges the material pressure less.
