The song embodies a very powerful message of hope: that the arts community can reach a new normal during the COVID-19 pandemic which recognises its importance to our society – and the need for performance arts, and music (in this instance), to be recognised as essential to community development.

We dedicate this work to the Singapore arts community, as well as choirs and singers everywhere.
