A Dallas mother is now facing a murder charge after police say she stabbed the father of her child, sending him fleeing for his life.

According to detectives, 32-year-old Alexandria Hubbard chased 32-year-old Jerrian Jones through her apartment parking lot on Dec. 2 knife in hand, making repeated stabbing motions.

Surveillance footage shows Jones clutching his chest, scrambling into his SUV, and speeding off. Less than a mile away, officers found his GMC Envoy crashed on S. Hampton Road Jones in the driver’s seat, unresponsive, with a deep chest wound. He was rushed to the hospital, where he did not make it.

Family told police Jones had stayed at Hubbard’s apartment the night before the same location caught on camera. Apartment staff confirmed Hubbard was the only adult resident. Detectives say the timeline, witness accounts, and video all point to one conclusion: Jones was stabbed before he drove off. On Dec. 3, the U.S. Marshals North Texas Fugitive Task Force arrested Hubbard. She is now booked into the Dallas County Jail charged with murder.
