Tampa bay is the new home for the Cast Net Sniper YouTube Channel!
This location offers some of the best saltwater fishing in the U.S. The Crystal clear water makes sight fishing possible and holds a wide variety of saltwater and freshwater fish species, all in one place!
I took the little sniper boat out there into the bay & started blasting the net out to see what got tangled up in its webbing. It took a bit of time to start locating the fish, but eventually, they were coming into the boat on almost every cast. I was going for something huge, but those fish were fast and could outrun my net. I will have to build a faster sinking net to get that huge redfish that I saw cruising by in 6 feet of water.
The bay hammered me pretty good on this episode. The sunken boats area constant reminder that this bay can get rough and hazardous in an instant, so I was taking some precautions in my little 14 foot boat. The outboard got absolutely slammed into the sand while underway in shallow water, a bigger boat would have ran aground on my chosen route. The little boat has its advantages, It can go through places that the larger boats cant go.
What an awesome trip!! I had a blast out there & cant wait to get back on the water and start dropping nets everywhere in the Tampa Bay area. Its only a matter of time before something absolutely huge gets yanked into my boat
