Here is another tasty bengali style fish recipe called Doi Katla or dahi katla, this recipe is about cooking Katla fish with curd. You can cook this recipe with Rui, Mrigel or some other fishes as well.

Ingredients:

1) Katla Fish : 3 pcs. (approx. 250-300 gms),
2) Sugar : ½ spoon,
3) Salt to Taste,
4) Curd/Yogurt : ½ bowl,
5) Onion : 1 medium sized PASTE,
6) Chilli : 4 or accordingly,
7) Turmeric Powder : ½ spoon,
8) Coriander Powder : ¼ spoon,
9) Cumin Powder : ¼ spoon,
10) Ginger + Garlic + 1 chilli (PASTE) : 1 spoon,
11) Mustard Oil : As required,
12) For Tempering we need: Bayleafs: 2 pcs,
Cinnamon: 1 inch pc.
Cardamom: 4 pcs.
Cloves: 4 pcs.
