Midwest Low Vision lead technician, Holly, dispenses two styles of telescopic glasses (reading telescopic glasses and bioptic telescopic glasses) and a portable video magnifier (Humanware, Explore 12) to a patient being treated for wet macular degeneration.
Of special note, these three items are the same glasses and low vision aids that Holly, herself, uses on a daily basis! So, she is excellent at training our patients at their dispensing visit as well.
