Hey Guys, In this video we will solve a question on Treatment of Goodwill in Admission of Partner class 12.
Here in this video we will solve a question as follow:
Q. A and B are partners in a firm sharing P/L in the Ratio of 3 : 2. They admit C in the firm for 1/4th share in profit which he acquire from A & B in the ratio of 2 : 1.
C bring ₹ 1,00,000 for his capital & bring 60% of share of his Goodwill in cash. Half of C's share of Goodwill in withdrawn by Partners. Goodwill of the firm valued at ₹ 1,80,000 & Goodwill appear in balancesheet/books ₹ 40,000.
Pass Journal Entries & Calculate new ratio.
