Generative Artificial Intelligence is already being used in political campaigns to replace stock images, and as it continues to get more powerful and wide spread, its likely to be used in ever more creative ways. But this technology is capable of making the fake look real, the real look fake and possibly fools of politicians and voters alike.

The Raw Politics team take a look at generative AI in politics from National's using limited AI to illustrate some of its early messaging to Mr Fake News, Donald Trump and his latest impersonation of a CNN anchor.
