Because every venue is different, artists often hold back tickets until the stage is built. That way, they can see how many seats they can add near the stage and account for cameras, equipment, and blocked views.

In our case, Lady Gaga added at least three rows to the side stage just the day before her show in Vegas. We happened to be checking the AXS app around noon and snagged them. The others disappeared within hours, but there was still plenty of time to grab them.

We used the same trick for Taylor Swift in Vancouver, but with the Eras Tour, it took my husband about four hours of refreshing Ticketmaster before the stage drop tickets popped up. People on social media followed the patterns of when her stage drops occurred so we knew a general timeframe. Persistence and strategy can pay off!
