Game
• Minecraft is a sandbox video game developed by the Swedish video game developer Mojang Studios, owned by Microsoft. The game was originally an indie title created by Markus "Notch" Persson.
• The Beta 1.7.3 version of Minecraft was released on 8th July 2011, this was the last update before the additions of hunger, sprinting, experience and the new world generation. There is a small community of players that prefer the game before such additions and therefore play on this older version of the game.
