Nový Svět (New World)
One of the most romantic places in Prague lies around the narrow street of the same name and, although not far from Prague Castle, is surprisingly secluded and not overrun by tourists. This former suburb of Hradčany, which began to emerge approximately in the middle of the 14th century, was inhabited mainly by local people bound by service at the Castle, and later mostly housed the poor. To this day, the locality has kept its charming character of winding cobblestone streets and compact houses with their house signs, mostly featuring gold in the name. The New World has been a popular address for decades, especially among artists.
Malá Strana, also known as Lesser Town, is a hillside area with views across the Vltava river to the old town. Hotels, casual eateries and traditional pubs line its narrow streets. One of the most historic sections of Prague, the Lesser Quarter features many Renaissance burghers' houses, baroque palaces, narrow lanes and spacious squares.

Nový Svět is best explored on foot, so wear comfortable shoes and take your time meandering through the enchanting streets.
Visit the district in the morning or evening to experience its serene atmosphere and capture the best photos.
*Cafes and Restaurants:* Malá Strana boasts a delightful selection of cafes, restaurants, and traditional Czech pubs where you can savor local dishes and drinks.
