The Perfect Solution For A Vintage Fuzz: Shnobel Tones Buffer Fuzz Interface

In today's episode of Vox Friendly Pedals, we are looking at the Shnobel Tone Buffer Fuzz Interface. Roman at Shnobel Tone has been one of the pillars of guitar demos here on YouTube, and with over ten years of creating content on this platform, Roman has come up with some interesting designs of his own. This one, the Buffer Fuzz Interface, sets out to solve some common issues with Vintage Fuzz pedals and other more capricious fuzz boxes.

First off, the BFI has it's own FX loops which allows you to isolate the Fuzz from the signal chain. The Buffer Fuzz Interface then proceeds to send to your fuzz the right impedance that it is expecting. When you turn off the BFI, the pedal send a great clean buffered signal from it's Class A buffer. Once you turn on the BFI, the buffer is taken out of the circuit and lets your fuzz shine through.
