Southern Illinois farm-June 2023; Join me in the cab of our 2023 KIOTI NS6010 hst cab hydro tractor and my 6' bush hog BH26 rotary cutter as I take on the steepest part of our deep pond dam. I've always felt it a bit sketchy to bush hog a steep pond dam horizontally, as you can run the risk of rolling over your tractor or skid steer if you turn just the wrong way on a steep incline. So today I'll tackle our overgrown pond dam with the Kioti NS 6010 and I will bush hog the pond dam vertically, or up and down the pond dam. This method is much safer that risking a roll over tractor accident as it greatly reduces the risk of rolling your tractor down the steep pond dam.
