A Story of Famine in the Karamoja Region of Uganda (English Subtitles)

Follow the Innovation: Africa team led by Founder and CEO, Sivan Yaari, as they travel through the drought and hunger-stricken region of Karamoja, Uganda in 2017. Yaari along with her local team in Uganda decided to drill and pump water quickly across six villages to try and alleviate hunger and fight death from the inconceivable situations that a lack of clean water produces. The team came face-to-face with the worst level of poverty they have experienced in working in the field for over a decade.
