Children and families are dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic in different ways and some children have already learned healthy coping skills. But many children have experienced challenges to their mental health while being secluded at home and away from their normal routines.

As businesses, parks, summer camps, and even gatherings are becoming less constricted, many parents are left wondering how to help their children best transition into this “new normal.” A panel of mental health experts explored this topic and offered their recommendations to support children’s mental health as America transitions to being open again.
