So weird fact... there are NO FULL VERSION MIDI's. Just the beginning and some are not even correct. I decided to throw this into Anthem Score in the end.
Obligatory cover of a childhood track. Surprisingly, I don't think my dad really liked this song, so he'd switch radio stations quite often, lol.
Wow, I missed so many cool details in this track that are very subtle unless you listen closely. First thing is what I figured out when I wanted to cover this on guitar, the sixteenth before the 3rd bar going back to the standard eighth notes after the first beat. Then in the percussion build up, there's some sixteenth hi-hats sprinkled in.
I wanted to make this epic, so I just changed the root notes in the part after the intro.
Believe it or not, as a pansexual guy, the song does resonate with me on a personal level too. I've wanted to try relationships with men, but about 90% of them are Mr Vain's, they start with wanting 'that interaction' before actually getting to know me, and it just puts me off. Especially given the age range of them. I've literally been invited to houses, so it's a creepy situation.
Somehow made 4 new sections for this... Night of the Raider, Generic Chord Raider, Prepare for Raider.
My remix on the Verse is actually pretty cool, it works really well changing up the chord progression, where it was just previously A, but I Gave it some depth.
Oh my god. Hxvoc going to C5 in that post chorus is hilarious.
So that little outro conversation is also based on experiences I've had on Grindr... essentially went exactly that way.
