I’m starting a podcast with some friends, so I composed a few different potential intro themes. Since our podcast will be about video games, I decided to pay homage to our early days of gaming by making the themes with sounds available on retro consoles. For the NES era, I used Plogue Chipsounds to emulate that sound chip. Sounds from SNES, PSX, and N64 are played back through Plogue Sforzando sample player, which can load soundfonts from those classic games.

Let me know which one was you favorite, or if you want me to do more chiptune/retro compositions. Even though we still haven’t figured out a name yet, we’ve done a couple test runs of the podcast, so you can expect that content pretty soon!
