We had a fantastic time covering the Calgary Stampede and showing support for the Filipino Arts & Culture Society of Alberta. Thanks to the incredible organization of GlobalFest Calgary, the diverse communities in Calgary are beautifully showcased at the BMO Centre. We had an incredible time on July 7 with the rich diversity of the Filipino community on full display, featuring special guests like Consul General Emma Sarne, PCG-Calgary and an interview with Ms. Anna Pham, GlobalFest Coordinator GlobalFest Calgary.
The event was filled with 11 days of cultural representation and multicultural performances, and it was truly electrifying!
The performances were stunning, featuring talented FILCAN cultural performers like the Lakambini Dance Troupe, Sampaguita Lady Dancers, M2Z FilCan Active Club, Golden Sparkles, Allysha Nolasco, Jacquiee Torreon, and Rucell Vuloso. From July 5 to 9, we also had terrific PHL Booth Vendors, including Lokal Bayong Lokal Bayong - Canada and LMV WOOD WORKZ CORP.
