Sometimes we choose to look at our circumstances as evidence that God might not be with us, and we can allow fear to take us down. The Lord deeply encouraged us through this sermon that He is with us, that He surrounds His people as a wall of fire, that He rejoices over us with shouts of deliverance. When we face persecution and challenges, that is the time to double down in our work for the Lord, trusting that He will bring the latter rains of blessing as we trust in Him to do so. He never leaves His people, so let’s be a people of great faith, especially under trials! Praise God that He is with us!
