Multi Calc, Lec 11A: Arc Length Parameterization Example

Описание к видео Multi Calc, Lec 11A: Arc Length Parameterization Example

Find an arc length parameterization of the parametric curve defined by the parametric equations x=t, y=(2/3)t^(3/2). This is also called a unit speed parameterization or a parameterization by arc length s. We can find it by using the inverse function of the arc length (distance) as a function of time. Arc length parameterization is important for defining curvature. There is a mistake in checking it with Mathematica: I should have done r1'[s].r1'[s].
