See here from the middle of the video how a "modern" device with switching power supply can disturb and make impossible even 6m further on opposite wall in a large room all SW / AM / LW reception completely. In such cases one must always look for the "causer" and switch off the power. Here it was the Gemini "CDMP 7000 Professional Media Workstation" that I had been running before and forgot to turn it off.
