Dawn (Go Away)

I wasn't the biggest 4 Seasons fan back in the Beatley days, but this song did stand out for me; a sad lyric and a gorgeous bridge whose chords entranced me. (They also entranced Carl Carlton , who used them for the verses in "Everlasting Love".) Anyhow, I still have a soft spot for this tune, and so here 'tis for y'all, done with 4 mikes, 4 cameras, just one voice and one 12-string. The organlike effects are done in postproduction, but they're just what Daniel Lanois would call heavily "treated" 12-string. I suppose. I have never met the gentleman, but if I ever do, I'll ask him if that's indeed what he might say.
