Images from the news agency ANI depict Kashmiri Shia Muslims in Srinagar demonstrating against the murder of Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei at Lal Chowk. People were spotted protesting in the streets with flags and pictures of Khamenei.
In order to express disapproval of US military engagement in the area, protests were also held in American cities, notably Times Square in New York and outside the White House.
