My friend Scott picked up this interesting device at a Michigan Hamfest. This was designed as a Morse code training aid, intended to help operators learn and increase their CW skills. No power required. It runs on a hand crank just like the old RCA Victrola's. This one is in perfect operational condition and has many paper code rolls that came with it. I was amazed that the punch patterns on the paper tapes were actually dits and dahs that make up the letter/number. Very cool technology!
