Camera traps and trial cameras have become a very valuable tool for monitoring wildlife in recent years and they have helped scientists and conservationists to make some shocking discoveries and rediscoveries. It can be very expensive and challenging to monitor and photograph wildlife in the wild manually but camera traps have become a very effective solution to this problem. Camera traps are relatively cheap and easy to set up and they do not need to be manually operated. Camera traps can be set up in areas where it would be hard for wildlife photographers to operate and they can be left for long periods of time. Camera traps have helped to discover new species and they have also rediscovered species that were thought to be extinct. In this video i will be going through some of the best discoveries made by camera traps and also some of the strangest things caught on camera traps as i will be going through 7 of the most amazing discoveries made by camera traps - animal rediscoveries.
