Making a Jane Austen Regency Dress | Part 1

Описание к видео Making a Jane Austen Regency Dress | Part 1

My Costube friends are doing a #RelaxedRegency Sew-Along, and I decided to join! I mostly use hand sewing techniques, with a little bit of machine sewing, to create a floral Regency dress with piping. My inspiration comes from Lydia's dress in BBC's 1995 Pride and Prejudice Jane Austen Mini Series. I use a combination of patterns from Joann's, American Duchess for Simplicity and McCall's. This is part one of a two part series on making the dress.

I misspoke in the video, my stays and chemise were made from Laughing Moon patterns.

Bonus: Diana the Corgie and Bean the Chihuahua Dogs
