(ASMR) Oil City to Third Beach, Olympic National Park

Описание к видео (ASMR) Oil City to Third Beach, Olympic National Park

A moderate, sometimes strenuous, three- or four-day, 20-mile backpack along one of the last remaining untouched coastlines in the U.S. This is a one-way hike, so you’ll need to arrange transportation by either doing a car shuttle (one car at each end of the route), or leave a car at the end and hire a shuttle to take you to the beginning. Note that bear cans are required for camping in this section.

Directions:
If you’re doing a car shuttle, first plug into your map app, “Third Beach Trailhead,” which will take you to a small parking lot off La Push Road. Leave one car there and then ask your map app for directions to “Oil City,” which takes you to the end of Oil City Road and the trailhead. If you have one car, another alternative is to hire a shuttle to take you from the Third Beach trailhead to Oil City. I used Olympic Hiking Co. Here’s the link: Backpacker Trailhead Shuttles in Olympic National Park | Olympic Hiking Co. (hikeolympic.com) The 2024 fee is $79.50 per person. If you’re hiking solo and you’re the only one on the shuttle (hardly likely during the summer), they charge double.
