Kurt created the biggest explosive for Crane.

In this part of Dying Light, Crane visited the school building and encountered Erol Asani, the province’s former governor. Erol warned Crane that Rais's men were hunting him down, offering a generous reward if Crane could eliminate them. Along the way, Crane also collected crayons for the children living in the Tower, aiming to bring them some joy amidst the chaos.

Afterward, Crane returned to Kurt, who had completed the explosives Crane needed to test in a tunnel—specifically at night, when the dangers are far greater. Before heading out, Crane dropped off the crayons at the Tower, bringing a bit of comfort to the young survivors.

Crane also took on a mission for Zaid, a firearms expert who was crafting modified flares. These flares would be crucial, as they could keep zombies at bay for a brief period, giving Crane valuable time to escape. The materials for these flares were located in the train yard, heavily guarded by Rais's men and infested with zombies. Crane fought through the chaos, defeating both Rais’s goons and the undead to gather all the necessary items. In return, Zaid provided Crane with a blueprint to craft these flares whenever needed.

Additionally, Crane met Dahlia, a mysterious woman with witch-like tendencies. She requested specific materials, hinting at future favors she would ask from Crane.
