Climate change is a scientific, economic and political challenge. Which leadership strategies are needed to tackle and minimize climate change? How can science, industry and politics co-operate in climate leadership and how can we develop an effective climate change leadership?


There is an interaction between the responsibility of the individual and the social organizations for a sustainable future. For both individuals and organizations, leadership is important. The leadership that goes before, precedes a good example and shows the possibilities of the future. However, leadership is always based on different styles and different foundations and sometimes the leadership needs to take new forms and adopt new arguments and communication styles to attract and show new ways and opportunities. At the same time, it is not always the established leadership that has the greatest capacity to lead societal change. In this session, we deepen the insight into how leadership within science, industry and politics can work to ensure that both individuals and organizations want - and can - contribute to a social transition towards a thriving and sustainable future.
