The small ball nationals was something else! A punishing but rewarding event that requires serious skill and honed athleticism. This was the 62nd event.
Unfortunately numbers are falling from what they used to be - an issue with almost every sport these days. I wonder if the event can be modernised to be more accessible somehow. One thing I loved, however, was having all the divisions (ages, skill grades, genders) in one place so you could meet a whole variety of players including previous legends of the game (who still have mad skills tbh)
