Calendula Salve Recipe:
1 part by weight Beeswax
4 parts by weight liquid herb infused oil
In a double boiler melt the wax into the oil aiming to keep the heat as low as possible. Pour into tins and let cool slowly at room temp. Place lids on and store away!
This salve should last at least a year at room temp.
TIP* I like to start with a full pint sized jar o dried calendula flowers and it fill to the brim with oil covering the flowers and let steep for 6 weeks. Then I base how much beeswax I need off of how much oil I am starting with using the ratio in the above recipe.
