Number 1 deadly marketing mistake is.... Well....... not marketing at all. Some of business owners we interact with tell us with great pride that they have never marketed before and they are doing just fine.
But as we dig deeper as a part of our consultation, we see that they are actually missing on a huge opportunity, or they are not doing fine at all, they are just keeping their standards very low and not seeing the full potential of their capabilities to bring in massive income.
Number 2 marketing mistake is putting all of your eggs in one basket. When we ask individuals what kind of marketing they currently do, many times we are told that they are only relying on one marketing avenue, and that's the only one.
Well... the problem with that is that if that marketing tactic fades away over time, or stops working because of economy or other reasons, then your new patient funnel is simply broken. You need at least 7-12 different marketing tactics in place all the time.
Number 3 deadly marketing mistake is called random acts of marketing. In other words marketing without a solid marketing strategy, not knowing what target you are trying to hit, what your marketing funnel is, what the end goal you are striving for is, and not using any measurement tools at all.
If we hear a business owner talk about why they don't believe in marketing, we immediate know that they don't have a marketing system in place and they randomly tried marketing here and there and decided marketing doesn't work for them.
