SMT V ~ Vengeance - True Transcended Lucifer [99] (Law Route, Low Level [81], Hard, Vengeance Path)

Описание к видео SMT V ~ Vengeance - True Transcended Lucifer [99] (Law Route, Low Level [81], Hard, Vengeance Path)

Rules broken: None. Succession isn't really a cheese strat, however Strategize is. This is the LOWEST level you can take on True Lucifer, this is the definitive version of True Lucifer, and I would be damned if someone else (Bucketgetter) proves that I'm wrong regarding of this.

Demeter is the new addition to the roster as well as Nuwa compare to Creation route since Khonsu's questline is locked after alignment lock which is when you access Empyrean, but since alignment lock happens super late here I was able to get some of the optional quest demons then beat Khonsu/Fionn quests, then go after Tiamat/Tehom, then go back to Shiva and be able to stop at level 81 (this happens due to the quest result rewards, even if I one-shot Shiva ONLY it will still yields enough exp for 81, so this is the definitive version). My plan doesn't change much for Lucifer here, but new QoL stuffs make this fight less tedious to fight and I no longer have to resort to Strategize to fight...

The team now carries damage boosting passives, each demons have their own roles (especially in phase 3 as this matters most) Nahobino carries Naamah's resistance to null both Tentarafoo/Evil Gleam as well as Null Phys for phase 2. Every demons in the stock has their purpose and acts as attacker/supporter/healer respectively, whereas Nahobino will be the one who will act as a pseudo-support with Luminescent Mirage and usually on the offensive if possible.

The first phase is pretty boring, same strat as Creation's Lucifer although with the help of Succession, this phase goes on pretty fast without Ikuyumi, although honestly I should've picked Ikuyumi over Moonlight Frost since it's pretty useless at this point for raw damage..
The second phase is when things get interesting. Physical attackers instead of Light attackers - as it's stronger than Light attackers at this point and we can easily setup for the third phase, although holding on to Whittled Goat is very important for Nahobino here, so by luck pray the fuck that Magma Axis doesn't hit him when Mirage is not up. Otherwise, Lucifer is harmless unless he starts using Freikugel.

The third phase, boy, oh boy. This is where all of my run dies. All five of them, and now this one is the sixth one, that actually succeeded and, I'm super proud of myself for this newly invented bait and switch strat, even if it's a little bit expensive for the amounts of chakras I have to throw out.

The idea here is to spam Mirage whenever is possible (to avoid eating the dangerous combination of Megidolaon + an Element-God skill) and keep him on with an attack, and focus on him Succession. Since Nahobino does not need to be worried about him being hit + as well as using Mirage lets you skip his followup Dekunda/Dekaja entirely, this saves us some resources, although everyone else still have to reapply their buff whenever a new demon is swapped in, so Arahabaki here is core of the fight with Enduring Soul AND Endure at the same time. Rinse and repeat, it's mostly the same without Strategize as there's no other viable strategy. Once we switch to the fourth team, the fight is already over, and I was able to finish him off with Qadištu Entropy here - which is super satisfying, to say, as Lilith's Enduring Soul popped out way earlier than I expected due to a miscalculation when he starts using Tentarafoo/Evil Gleam.

There will be no more of Vengeance from this point onwards, I've already beaten everything. This channel will most likely continues having garbage contents, but I'm honestly looking forward to Bucketgetter's run on Vengeance - it will be a great one.

I love Vengeance, saves for Lucifer's Stars change - it has turned V from a wasted potential game with possible replayability to an excellent game with a fuck tons of replayability, overhauled gameplay aspect (even if it's just a few to mention, some are very important and crucial for how its played out like level scaling and exploring/innate skills for team building) and story (Law route based for making Taohori trve). I would easily recommend this game but please grab it at like ~30% discount or more, since Fatlus really wants to sell people a fucking 80$ rerelease game with an additional 20% content...
